My name is Alicia and I am currently enrolled at Walden University for the Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology. I am passionate about learning, child development, and helping people. My credentials include a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in psychology specializing in child and adolescent development, and a certificate in applied behavior analysis. I have attended conferences focused on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how it impacts childhood development through adulthood. The first conference I attended piqued my interest in ACEs and has led me to participate in other training on this topic. I think it is fascinating how ACEs can have different impacts on people and how resiliency plays a role in ACEs and their effects on individuals. The main question the blog will explore is what role does resiliency plays in ACEs?
